Internships
Students are encouraged to obtain internships in state, local or national government agencies, with political parties and interest groups, or with other organizations of their choosing. Internships completed for Political Science credit must be approved by the Political Science Internship Coordinator. Contact the Intern Coordinator one quarter in advance of registration if you are interested in a local internship, sooner if you are interested in a state or federal internship. Students may count 10 credits of internship and independent study combined toward the major.
Read over the information about Administrative Internships and Legislative Internships for details, or come to the Political Science Department Office.
