WWU is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities, and was last visited in spring 2008. The self study and reports of the NWCCU are available on the Provost's website.

WWU Administrative Rules
The rules in Title 516 of the Washington Administrative Code govern the operation of Western Washington University. They are approved by the Board of Trustees or by the President as delegated by the Board. This site is maintained by the Washington State Code Reviser's Office.
WWU Policies and Procedures
WWU established a University Policies and Procedures website to provide a central location for policies that affect the campus community. You will find policies that pertain to more than one division or college of the university and that: connect the university's mission to individual conduct; establish specific requirements for members of the campus community; ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations; promote operational efficiencies and reduces institutional risks.
