Opening Convocation
Each fall President Bruce Shepard hosts the annual Opening Convocation for faculty and staff. He delivers his opening convocation remarks and welcomes both faculty and staff to celebrate the beginning of the new academic year.
Exceptional faculty and staff also are recognized for their contributions and service to the university. The following recognition awards were presented at the 2010 event:
