Transcript Fees

  • $11 per official transcript
  • $14 per official electronic transcript (PDF)
  • $15 faxed transcript (unofficial)

Allow 2 business days for transcript processing

Delivery Methods

Official transcripts will be mailed to the recipients you specify in your order.

If you chose the pickup option, your transcripts will be available in the Registrar's Office 1-2 business days after your order has been completed.

To FedEx transcripts to recipient, you must use method 2 below, "Online Ordering". Additional FedEx fees are incurred.

Transcript Ordering Methods

1. Print Out Request Form and Mail to WWU with a Check/Money Order

  • Print & SIGN Transcript Order Form (or write letter with information listed on the order form). A signature made with a mouse or cursive font is not accepted.
  • Attach check or money order and/or any additional forms (see Fees)
  • Send request to:

2. Order Online with Credit/Debit Card (FedEx Shipping Available)

Credit/Debit Card orders are processed through Credentials Inc.

  • Turn off Pop-up blocker
  • Current Students: Log onto Web4U. Select Order Official Transcript.
  • Former Students:
    • Transcript Ordering Method without Student ID and PIN. Email your signed release to authorizations@wwu.edu (mouse or computer generated signatures will not be accepted) or mail to address on form.
    • Log onto Alumni/Former Students using Western ID (W#) and PIN. PIN details are provided on the login page. Click on Student, Student Records, Order Official Transcript. If you are unable to log in after reading PIN instructions, please contact the ATUS Help Desk at (360) 650-3333.
  • Look up Western ID (W#).
  • Attachments: If your recipient requires an attachment to be sent with your transcript, you will need to check “Yes” in the “Attachment Options for this Recipient” box. When you complete your order, you will be prompted to click a link to upload your attachment.
  • Check your email for the status of your order. Once your order is complete, it will be processed within 1 to 2 business days. Or you may check the status of your order at www.transcriptsplus.net/order.

3. Order Online with Credit/Debit Card Electronic (PDF) Delivery (Make Sure Your Recipient Accepts PDF Transcripts as Official)

Credit/Debit Card orders are processed through Credentials Inc. and electronic delivery is processed and delivered securely through Credentials’ TranscriptsNetwork

Please Note: Students who attended prior to fall quarter 1984 and Fairhaven students who attended prior to fall quarter 1987 do not have complete online records, therefore an official printed transcript is the only transcript available.

  • Turn off Pop-up blocker
  • On the "Basic Order Information" page of the Credential Solutions order form, choose “Regular Request (Official) Deliver to Recipient.
    • You will choose PDF delivery later on the “Delivery method for recipient 1” page of your order.
    • Make sure your recipient accepts PDF transcripts as official.
    • Please Note:  Forwarded PDF transcripts are considered unofficial, deliver directly to intended recipient.
    • Verify correct email address for your intended recipient.
    • Transcripts not retrieved will not be reissued or refunded.
  • Current Students: Log onto Web4U. Select Order Official Transcript.
  • Former Students:
    • Transcript Ordering Method without Student ID and PIN: Email your signed release to authorizations@wwu.edu (mouse or computer generated signatures will not be accepted) or mail to address on form.
    • Log onto Alumni/Former Students using Western ID (W#) and PIN: PIN details are provided on the login page. Click on Student, Student Records, Order Official Transcript. If you are unable to log in after reading PIN instructions, please contact the ATUS Help Desk at (360) 650-3333.
  • Look up Western ID (W#).
  • When ordering to a Central Application Service (e.g.: LSAC), enter your Application ID information on the "Transcript Recipient" page. Credentials will automatically generate an attachment containing your Application Service ID.
  • Attachments: If your recipient requires an attachment to be sent with your transcript, you will need to check “Yes” in the “Attachment Options for this Recipient” box when placing your order. When you complete your order, you will be prompted to click a link to upload your attachment.
  • Check your email for the status of your order and receipt of an emailed attachment. Once your order is complete, it will take 1 to 2 business days before your transcript is released.
  • Your recipient will be emailed a notification; followed approximately five minutes later by a verification code. They will have 30 days to retrieve your transcript. Once your transcript is viewed, it will be available for two business days.

4. Order on Campus with Cash or Check Payment

  • Go to Registrar's Office, Old Main 230, and fill out a Transcript Request form.
  • Go to Student Business Office, Old Main 110 & pay for transcript. (Student Business Office hours 9am-4pm Monday-Friday.)
  • Staple receipt to transcript request and place request in transcript box in lobby of Registrar’s Office, Old Main 230.

5. Faxed Unofficial Transcript

  • Print out Unofficial Faxed Transcript Request Form and mail to WWU with a Check/Money Order in the amount of $15.00
    • Print & SIGN Unofficial Faxed Transcript Order Form Unofficial Faxed Transcript Request Form. A signature made with a mouse or cursive font will not be accepted.
    • Attach check or money order in the amount of $15.00 and/or any additional forms.
    • Send request to:

    OR
  • Print out Unofficial Faxed-Transcript Request Form and email to authorizations@wwu.edu. There is a 2.75% additional fee when choosing this payment option.
    • Print & SIGN Unofficial Faxed-Transcript Order Form Unofficial Faxed Transcript Request Form. A signature made with a mouse or cursive font will not be accepted.
    • Scan signed, completed form and email as an attachment to authorizations@wwu.edu.
    • Wait for payment instructions via email.
    • Follow directions to make payment online for $15.00. You will be charged an additional 2.75% when using this payment option. To avoid these fees, bring in or mail in your request with your check or money order in the amount of $15.00.
    • Send reply email to authorizations@wwu.edu indicating that payment has been made.
    • Your order will be processed only after payment is received. Please allow 1-2 business days for processing.

Unofficial Transcript (Academic History)

Students may print a copy of their Unofficial Transcript (Academic History) via Web4U. An unofficial transcript is intended for student use only.

  • Current Students: Log onto Web4U. Select Unofficial Transcript.
  • Former Students: Log onto Alumni/Former Students using Western ID (W#) and PIN. PIN instructions are provided on the login page. Click Student, Student Records, Unofficial Transcript. If you are unable to log in after reading PIN instructions, please contact the ATUS Help Desk at (360) 650-3333.

Financial Holds

Financial holds must be resolved before your transcripts may be sent.

Fairhaven College Students

In addition to ordering your official transcripts through the Registrar’s Office, Fairhaven students who need their Fairhaven Evaluations must order those evaluations separately. For information regarding Fairhaven Evaluations, call Fairhaven College at (360) 650-3683 or visit the Fairhaven website.

WWU Graduate School Applicants

If you are a current or former WWU student applying for admission to WWU Graduate School, please do not order official WWU transcripts. The Graduate School office has access to your WWU academic history and does not need an official copy.

FedEx Shipping

FedEx Standard Overnight shipping is available as a delivery option ONLY under the Credit/Debit Card Online Transcript Ordering option. A signature is required for all FedEx orders upon delivery. Packages will not be left on a doorstep.

Transcripts from another institution

Transcripts from another institution must be obtained from that institution.
