Veterans Services: Priority Registration
Priority Registration allows all eligible veterans to register on the first day of registration regardless the number of credits they have. Eligible veterans are those who have an honorable discharge and reside in Washington State. Priority registration helps veterans get the classes they need and promotes efficient use of benefits. Please take the time to read the following because it explains what priority registration is and how it works.
Priority Registration allows a qualified student to register at 8:30 am on the first day of registration regardless the number of credits that student has. Priority registration is available to qualified students during the regular academic year, but not during summer term. It does not change or waive any course or major requirements, such as prerequisites and major restrictions.
Priority registration is usually updated the day prior to registration, so do not worry if Web4U doesnít indicate your priority registration a few days before Phase I of registration begins.
Priority registration will be given automatically to all veterans who are currently using VA benefits. Please spread the word to all student veterans that you know, since the Veterans Service Office doesnít have the contact information for veterans who do not use VA benefits. Veterans who currently do not use benefits will need to contact the VSO and submit a copy of their DDform214 and a copy of their driverís license. Students may email photocopies of both to firstname.lastname@example.org or fax them to (360)650-2157.
Contact the VSO if you are unable to register during priority registration, which starts 8:30 am on the first day of Phase I of registration.
