Research Support for Non-tenure Track Faculty


Non-tenure track faculty members who hold appointments of .50 FTE or more are eligible for the following support services and awards:

  • Assistance in search for extramural funding sources
  • Assistance in preparation of proposals to extramural funding sources.
  • Administration of extramural grants obtained through the University.
  • Publication support for ¬†page charges, if required by the journal (up to $1,500). Use the Mini-Grant form.
  • Mini-Grants, which cover incidental research materials, supplies or services (up to $1,000), provided that the faculty member is expected to hold a .50FTE teaching appointment with the University in the following year.
  • Grants-in-Aid, up to $2,500 for assistance in research or creative activities provided that the faculty member is expected to hold a .50FTE teaching appointment with the University in the following year.
