Salish Sea Art Show

Call for artists: Salish Sea Ecosystem Conference
Art of the Salish Sea
April 30 - May 2, 2014
Washington State Convention and Trade Center, Seattle WA

About the exhibition

This temporary, curated 3-day exhibition will be part of the 2014 Salish Sea Ecosystem Conference at the Washington State Convention and Trade Centre. There is no fee for selected artists to participate, though a commission will be taken on work sold.

Artists are encouraged to be present during the exhibition to talk about their work and engage with conference delegates. The space will be set up as a professional gallery, with sales of both artwork and related products such as greeting cards and books. All items for sale must be approved in advance by the curator. A 30% commission will be taken on all items sold. All sales will be handled by the curator and fully documented. Artists will be paid within 15 days of the end of the exhibition.

Confirmed artists will be responsible for getting their work to the Convention Centre on April 29 and picking up all unsold items at the end of the day on May 2. Return shipping may be arranged at the artist's expense.
