Special Assistant to the Provost
The Special Assistant to the Provost has primary responsibility for space administration, policy development/implementation, instructional technology, and faculty data management. However, the position also performs a variety of special projects in other areas for the Provost, as needed and appropriate. With the Director of Space Administration, the Special Assistant serves as a liaison to capital planning leaders in other divisions and units and coordinates responses to space requests within Academic Affairs. The position thus liaises with the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs with respect to capital and space aspects of strategic planning. The Special Assistant will work closely with faculty, deans, vice provosts and other campus leaders to promote transparency and coherence in policy development and implementation.
