About CEDAR | Scholars Week | Western Washington University

Using Western CEDAR, WWU's Institutional Repository, for Scholars Week creates an archive of outstanding student work. The Scholars Week page in CEDAR showcases and highlights to future Scholars, future students, and the University all the hard work that Western student scholars pour into their projects for the annual Scholars Week event.

It is beneficial for past and present Scholars to have their work and posters in the Cedar database as both a reference to work that has been done in the past and as a permanent access point for resumes and CVs. The superb contents of the Scholars Week page in CEDAR comes from the cooperation of the students, their mentors, Western Libraries, and the Scholars Week staff and committee with the goal of honoring and preserving the work of WWU student scholars to the best of our abilities.

CEDAR is a service of Western Libraries in partnership with the Graduate School, Office of the Provost, and Office of Research and Sponsored Programs. It is part of an innovated movement to provide open access to scholarship and creative works across the internet.
