Carissa Mason - Peer Mentor

If you see a girl with long hair, engrossed in a novel, munching organic goodies at the local co-op, it's probably Carissa Mason. Born and raised in Skagit Valley, WA, Carissa is a fan of nature, writing, stories, and learning. She was Vice President of Sedro-Woolley High School's Club Diversity, and has been involved in drama, National Honor Society, and fostering cats for the Humane Society. Currently a junior at WWU, she is pursuing an English Major with literature emphasis. This is her second year in the Peer Mentor Program, where she helps others to fly and thrive.
