Emily Mulnick - Lead Peer Mentor

Emily Mulnick - Lead Peer MentorMy name is Emily Mulnick, and I am a junior studying Biological Anthropology and Spanish. I am an out of state student from Idaho, and enjoy doing most everything outdoors and with my friends and family. My family is super important to me, and through growing up in a small town, I have realized how important a strong sense of community and having down-time is, in order to enjoy the small things. Whether camping or backpacking, kicking a soccer ball or throwing a frisbee, or even just laying in the sun and reading a book, I always am able to enjoy the sunshine (and rain too.) I also had the opportunity to live in Italy for a year in between high school and coming to WWU where I discovered my love for traveling, learning languages, and cooking and eating endless amounts of delicious food. I love all Bellingham has to offer, and the diversity that it supports and fosters. It is an environment apt for meeting new people and experiencing new things, and I am excited to expound upon that this upcoming year.
