Vang Le - Peer Mentor
First off, my name is Vang Le (pronounced Van, like the minivan or Van's shoes). I finished up my sophomore credits this year. My academic endeavors encompass around being an educator. I am majoring in Human Services and looking at a minor in Advertising and Communication. I am passionate about sports and I also play a lot of sports. I am specifically passionate about basketball--I can discuss, talk, or watch basketball all day, baby! I am a hooper and a die-hard Seattle SuperSonics fan, but the team moved a few years ago now named Oklahoma City Thunder. I am an avid member of my Boys & Girls Club in Bellingham, WA! I am a Resident Advisor and will continue to be during my junior year. I am heavily involved around campus in various groups, clubs and sports. I have two brothers and two sisters (second youngest) and I am the first person in my family to attend college. I love to eat all types of cuisine, especially Thai and Vietnamese. I go crazy for Pho! People like to describe me as vivacious, driven, and energetic. I hope that gives you a vibe of who you're going to get to meet! Also in my free time, I love working/helping others, playing Halo/Call of Duty, going out with friends, going to concerts (will be attending Paradiso Festival!), and skateboarding.
