Sponsorship & Support
The Women of Color Empowerment Dinner promotes diversity on campus as we celebrate and encourage the achievements of women of color at Western and in our community. In many ways the event connects Western's core value of Diversity to community building through the retention of WWU students, and the recruiting of new students of color, while also maintaining strong relationships with alumni, community members, faculty and staff.
We appreciate any contributions made to support this endeavor as they are vital to the success of the program. The dinner, educational scholarships, silent auction and student ticket sponsorships are funded by generous sponsorships and donations from local employers, alumni, private individuals and the campus community.
There are several ways to give to the Women of Color Empowerment Dinner:
• Sponsor a table at the WOCED event
• Sponsor student dinner tickets
• Purchase Silent Auction items
• Donate

A gift of $200-300 will go a long way to meet rising costs while keeping ticket prices the same for our guests.
