Plan ahead for leadership jobs
By Colleen ToomeyWWU University Communications
Did you know that students must plan months in advance if they're interested in key leadership positions on campus?
Resident Advisors and students who help with orientation, academic and career advising, tutoring and other important student services are selected one to two quarters before they begin their jobs.
Many of these positions provide a salary as well as crucial leadership experience. And while many offer training, the positions seek students with a diversity of previous experience, so students with a variety of interests and knowledge will find a home here.
