Meet Western's new Family Outreach Manager
As Western’s new Family Outreach Manager, Kate Stevenson is responsible for programs and services that help keep families informed and connected with Western.
Stevenson first became active at Western in 1996 when she started as a freshman. After graduating in 2000, she taught ballet and modern dance for the Dance Department and group fitness classes for the Pysical Education, Health and Recreation Department. For seven years, Stevenson was the Event Services Manager in the Viking Union.
Today, Stevenson teaches for the faculty/ staff wellness program in addition to her work in New Student Services/Family Outreach.
“I look forward to working with families,” Stevenson says. “I have walked this campus in many shoes and want to help family members as they navigate their way around Western. I look forward to sharing stories, creating new experiences, and building new relationships with parents and students.”
