Transfer students get a head start

Transitions, Western’s summer orientation, advising and registration program for transfer students, drew more than 650 students and parents to campus in July, including Greg Ramos and his daughter, Nicole, right, from Seattle. Nicole is already getting invovled at Western by joining the cheerleading team. A make-up session will be Sept. 12 for transfer students who couldn’t come to Transitions earlier this summer.
