Students must arrange to send families tuition bills

After years of signing permission slips for your student, now it’s time for your student to write a permission slip for you.

Federal law prohibits WWU staff members from talking about your student’s financial affairs with anyone but your student, unless the student grants permission to share information with family members, employers or others.

Find the “Release for Financial Information” at www.wwu.edu/sfs/Forms

Remember, families can’t complete the form themselves. This is one permission form your student will have to fill out.

Students also need to make sure their family members are included as “authorized payers” with Student Accounts in order to access the account online. Once that’s done, families can view statements for tuition, room and board, course fees and health fees, and even pay online. Learn more by clicking here.
