Winter quarter classes begin January 3

Winter quarter will begin on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012; that's a day earlier than winter quarter's typical start date, and important news for families making travel plans.

Residence halls will open for winter quarter move-in day on Monday, Jan. 2. But students who must move in on Sunday, Jan. 1, will be able to make arrangements with University Residences.
