Bellingham Business Forum to feature Alaska Airlines CEO

The Bellingham Business Forum, a WWU event to raise funds for student scholarships, will feature Alaska Airlines CEO William S. Ayer March 18.

The forum, in its ninth year, will be in Bellingham at the Hotel Bellwether ballroom. Individual tickets are $50 each and table sponsorships range from $500 to $2,000.

Ayer, chairman and chief executive officer of Alaska Airlines and Alaska Airgroup, will be the keynote speaker. He has held a variety of leadership positions at Alaska Airlines as well as Horizon Air, Alaska Air’s regional commuter airline. He has been Alaska Air’s CEO since 2002.

Doors will open at 11:30 a.m., with lunch beginning at noon. The keynote address will begin at 12:45 p.m.
