Sponsored by Huxley College of the Environment, Western Washington University and the Northwest Council of Study Abroad Universities (NCSA) and in cooperation with AHA International, an Academic Program of the University of Oregon.
A multi-disciplinary, applied studies curriculum targeting undergraduate and graduate students in the fields of sustainable design and urban planning, environmental studies, landscape design and architecture, natural resources management, green building, community and international development, social anthropology, and sustainable economic development.
• Experiential, project-based learning on-location.
• Hosted in the island of Kefalonia in partnership with local communities, governments, and NGOs.
• Program housed in pedestrian-oriented town of Argostoli. Field studies in ancient mountain village.
• Multi Disciplinary Coursework. Student initiated special projects in community sustainability studies.
