October 2011 NewsletterWestern's annual Total Waste Reduction challenge is going strong into year five. Founded by graduate student Kimbough Mauney, the challenge originally focused solely on electricity usage. However, over the past four years it has evolved to encompass four different types of waste: Electricity, Heat, Water, and Landfill.
