100% Green Power
As a result of the student-led Green Power initiative, Western Washington University is powered 100% by alternative energy sources. Puget Sound Energy's Green Power program annually provides WWU with 33 million kilowatt hours of domestically-produced, alternative energy via Renewable Energy Credits. Through this program, WWU is the nation's fourth-largest buyer of green energy among academic institutions.

Building Dashboard (beta)
Office of Sustainability's Resource Conservation Specialist has created a building dashboard designed to allow students, faculty and staff to check up on their energy usage, water consumption and carbon footprint in a given building. The dashboard features per-person and building usage, as well as month-to-month and month-to-average percent changes. Check out the building dashboard here.
