Sustainable Office Certification reduces costs, protects the environment, conserves resources and promotes fairness, safety and health. The program supports actions and provides a simple way of measuring efforts that happen at the office level. Participating Offices are recognized for their level of achievement, as a way of showing thanks and appreciation for measurement of work well done.

  1. Designate one staff member as the Office Sustainability Facilitator, to guide the office through the certification process (Interest form/application and basic assessment on reverse.)

  2. Submit the interest form and basic office assessment. You will receive a checklist that once completed will calculate your certification level.

  3. After verification, including a site visit by Sustainability, your office will receive a Certificate of Achievement signed by President Shepard. The office will be added to the published list of Sustainable Office partners and recognized at the Employee Awards ceremony.


leaf CERTIFICATION LEVELS

Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Basic certification means the office meets all pre-requisites.
Higher certification levels are determined by the number of points acquired, using the checklist score sheet.
