For Industry
Part of the TDC’s mission is to promote private sector innovation by helping companies to gain access to research and development resources available through WWU. The TDC can help provide companies with access to scientific and engineering expertise, specialized equipment, and a research partner on collaborative R&D grant applications.
The size and scope of a project may vary and we encourage you to review our Facilities and FAQ pages to find out more about opportunities to access the TDC facilities and R&D resources.
How do I get started?
We use two approaches, depending on the scope of the project:
1) R&D partnerships and other long-term projects (typically involving grant funding) are administered through WWU's Office of Research and Sponsored Projects. A copy of the Facility use agreement can be found here.
2) Projects of limited scope and duration are handled directly by the TDC.
We welcome you to contact us to discuss the appropriate framework for working with the TDC.
As a first step we encourage you to briefly describe your proposed project by submitting a project intake form. The TDC coordinator will review your project pre-proposal and contact you for more information.
If you would like to tour the facility or learn more about the TDC we encourage you to attend one of our periodic tours and information sessions at the TDC. Please contact us for more information.
How do I stay informed of TDC activities?
