The TDC schedules periodic tours and information sessions at the Technology Development Center. If you are interested in attending an upcoming tour please contact us and we will notify you of the next opportunity.

Past Events

• July 31, 2012:  New Market Design graduates from the TDC following the successful prototyping of products for the telepharmacy industry.

• May 10, 2012:  The Western Foundation hosts a “WWU@Home” event at the TDC for approximately 100 local alumni and community members.

• March 27, 2012:  First day of class for the WWU experimental course, “Lean Start-up and Entrepreneurship Methods”, which is being taught at the TDC.

• March 22, 2012: Industry tour and information session.

• March 19, 2012: A solar observatory and meteorological instrument package was installed on the TDC roof, making WWU the first Pacific Northwest node in the University of California Solar Power Forecasting Initiative.  The live streaming data can be viewed at: http://coimbra.ucsd.edu/observatory.php?loc=bellingham.

• October 22, 2011: The WWU Fall Family Open House included TDC tours and project demonstrations.

• June 16, 2011: TDC Tour and Information Session.

• April 15, 2011: TAG meeting at the TDC, including tours of TDC facilities and projects. Watch the videos online at this link.

• March 17, 2011: Talk It Up TV interview with the Kitsap Bus team

• February 17, 2011: Industrial Design workshop.

• January 25, 2011: Bellingham/Whatcom County has been picked as 1 of 5 areas for technology investment by the State of WA. Press release is at this link.  

• January 14, 2011: Biomethane project accepted to the TDC.
