For Students
How can I get involved in projects at the TDC?
The TDC is an interdisciplinary facility with collaborative projects involving students and faculty from various departments at WWU as well as personnel from private sector partners.
Project involvement at the TDC is intended to provide opportunities to apply concepts learned in the classroom and laboratory, helping to prepare students for graduate study or employment in industry.
Students involved in projects at the TDC will work under the guidance of a faculty mentor or via an internship with a partner company.
The research experience or internship is usually performed in the junior or senior year. Students should consult with their departmental internship advisor for assistance in arranging their experience.
How do I get started?
Students are encouraged to contact your undergraduate advisor or the department chair to learn about internship and research opportunities. You may also contact faculty who are currently involved in projects at the TDC for guidance.
