Multimedia

The Tech Center supports the design and development of multimedia with a fully-equipped lab as well as support staff knowledgeable in related software. Consider scheduling a tutoring appointment or registering for one of our workshops. Walk-in services are available for scanning, color printing, and video duplication.

Scanning

We have several scanners available for scanning both documents and slides. Our multipage feeder can automate the scan of multipage documents and our medium-format scanner can accommodate documents up to 11x17.

Public Scanning

The public scanner is the copier located in Haggard Hall 2. The large format scanner can scan up to 11"x 17" documents as well as feed 8.5" x 11" documents and send it to the S drive. There are instructions for use located on the wall or a Student Technology Staff member would be happy to help you.

Video

The Tech Center can be used for video and audio editing and duplication. We have computer stations equipped with external VCRs, TV monitors, and high-capacity hard drives as well as appropriate editing software. The STC also provides video duplication capabilities in order to transfer from one format to another, or to make DVD duplications.
