Overview In this video series, Kathy will introduce you to the basic concepts needed to build your own website using Dreamweaver.
1 - Setting Up Your Site (Running Time: 7:12) In this video, Kathy introduces you to the Dreamweaver workspace and shows how to setup a new website.
2 - Assigning HTML Tags (Running Time: 7:21) HTML is code that creates the structure of a web page. In this video, Kathy shows tricks for working with HTML code and how to use the code and design views.
3 - Making Links (Running Time: 6:36) Websites use links to tie all their pages together. In this video, Kathy show how to create absolute and relative links and how to target different browser windows.
4 - Cascading Style Sheets (Running Time: 8:33) Cascading style sheets allow you to separate the look from the structure of a web page and give that look to the whole site. In this video, Kathy shows you how to create, apply and change style sheets.
5 - Tables (Running Time: 8:24) Tables allow websites to control the position of web content on a page. In this video, Kathy demonstrates how to insert and modify tables using Dreamweaver.
6 - Javascript rollover buttons (Running Time: 5:43) Javascript adds interactivity to a website. In this video, Kathy shows how to quickly add javascript and rollover buttons to your web pages using Dreamweaver. |
