Britten’s ravishing score marries a lush array of orchestral colors to Shakespeare’s much-beloved tale to evoke characterizations that are nothing short of magical. Featuring the talented singers of WWU Opera Studio, the production is co-produced with the WWU Theatre Department and the WWU Chamber Orchestra directed by Dr. Roger Briggs.

Corktown

Doug Underground Theatre

A commissioned new work by a rising star in playwriting focused on diversity. Corktown is Environmental Theatre, taking the audience to three locations on campus. The playwright will be on campus during spring quarter to workshop his new play with Western students. This work is in the planning stages, so please visit again to stay tuned!
