TLA's Academy Awards

Every spring since 2004, the Teaching-Learning Academy has hosted the Academy Awards, an awards ceremony and reception to celebrate individual and collective achievements in teaching and learning at WWU and beyond.

The 2010 Academy Awards Reception will be held during Spring Quarter 2010. More information will be posted here as it becomes available.

Academy Awards Nominations

TLA Members nominate individuals and groups who embody one or more of the responses to the BIG question that the TLA has studied all year. Our goal is to recognize widely, so everyone who is nominated with an appropriate rationale (based on the TLA's BIG question) receives an award.

TLA Big Question for 2009-2010 has not been developed yet. TLA Participants -- together -- will develop this year's research question during dialogue groups in Fall Quarter 2009.

Once the yearly question has been developed, you will be able to nominate individuals and groups to receive an Academy Award here.
