Bookstore & Ethnic Student Center Construction Update
Construction fencing around the main construction zone extends north into the former Vender’s Row area. Enter the VU via the Performing Arts Plaza or to the left of the bookstore entrance. Please follow signs for pedestrian and bike traffic. See diagram below.
AIRPORTER shuttle pickup has moved from the area in front of the PA Plaza, to the area in front of the Viking Commons dining hall. This location may move slightly up or down High Street if construction work creates parking challenges. Look for their white buses marked Bellair or Airporter - they will be looking for their passengers.
Airporter shuttle (service to SeaTac) will pick up on the WWU campus during the academic year on Friday/Saturday/Sunday, with extended service during holidays and breaks.
For pick up any day of the year - Airporter is conveniently located near WWU at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel, 714 Lakeway Drive, and is served by WTA daily, and the Late Night Shuttle during the academic year.
Other visiting coaches and buses will also use the area on High Street in front of the Viking Commons dining hall, avoiding the WTA bus parking at the PA Plaza.
New Hours for Walk In Employee Bus Pass Sales
The Office of Sustainable Transportation will be open from 9:00am - 1:00pm or by appointment for walk in employee bus pass sales. Phones and emails will continue to be monitored from 8:00am - 5:00pm.
