Tutoring Center Services

The most popular of the Tutoring Center's services are drop-in tutoring and study groups, described below. We also offer study skills tutoring, and a wide variety of materials, including calculators, textbooks, computers, and worksheets.

Drop-in Tutoring

During drop-in tutoring hours, students combine independent study with assistance by trained peer tutors. Drop-in tutoring is available:

• Monday - Thursday: 9am-9pm
• Friday: 9am-5pm
• Sunday: 5pm - 9pm

The Tutoring Center in Wilson Library 280 is also available as a study area during operating hours. WWU students may come in to study or check out materials to use in the Tutoring Center during these hours.

NOTE: All resources available for checkout must stay within the Center.

Study Groups

Participation in study groups is an excellent way to supplement individual study. The Tutoring Center offers facilitated study groups, led by peer tutors who are familiar with the courses and instructors. The facilitator encourages student participation, keeps discussion on-track, and helps students understand difficult problems and concepts.
