Federal Relations

Federal Relations is a department within the division of  University Relations. Federal Relations works closely with its Legislative relations counterpart to maximize the efforts on behalf of the University and its federal delegation. Federal Relations works closely with faculty and staff to develop and promote federal initiatives. The office utilizes the Deans of the colleges, the Provost and the Vice Provost for research to set priorities with the federal delegation.

The University also contracts for representation from the firm of Van Ness Feldman, which has offices in Seattle and Washington DC. Van Ness Feldman has primary responsibility to assist the University in the pursuit of grants, contracts and federal appropriations.
