Federal Relations

What We Do

A division of University Relations, Federal Relations works with faculty and staff to develop and promote federal initiatives. The office utilizes the deans of the colleges, the provost and the vice provost for research to set priorities with the federal delegation.

Western also contracts for representation from Van Ness Feldman, a firm that has offices in Seattle and Washington DC. Van Ness Feldman’s primary responsibility is to assist the University in the pursuit of grants, contracts and federal appropriations.
