Washington State Higher Education Coordinating Board
The HEC Board is a nine-member board of citizens, appointed by the governor, to represent the broad public interest in the development of higher education policy. The Board is charged with providing planning, coordination, monitoring, and fiscal policy analysis for higher education in the state.
HEC Board - Higher Education 2004 Master Plan
Every four years, the HEC Board prepares a master plan setting out statewide priorities in higher education. The current Master Plan was published in January 2005.
