Gabe Rodriguez is a graduating senior of Fairhaven College with an interdisciplinary concentration titled "Trinity of the Arts in Media: Graphic Design, Animation, and Film-making." Gabe was recently recognized during Scholars Week by Fairhaven College for his innovative graphic art work and film-making. Gabe has also been a long standing student employee with Western's disAbility Resources for Students office, a mentor for Asia University students who are deaf experiencing U.S. culture while attending Western and an active participant in Deaf culture in Bellingham's community. Gabe's first language is American Sign Language and while enrolled at Western has provided support for fellow students learning ASL through the Linguistics and American Cultural Studies programs.
