Nakama: John Purdie Bio

Western graduate John Purdie (BA, ’91) is always happy to put his Speech-Communication degree to work, especially in service to his alma mater and the Division he is so pleased to belong to once again.

After growing up in Lake Quinault, WWU launched him to Michigan State U (MA, ’94), UNLV, Arizona State U, and U. Missouri (Ph.D., ‘07). Now back as the Associate Director for Res Life, John also serves on the Bellingham Theatre Guild board of directors, the school commission for Assumption School, and occasionally as a Marshal for graduations.
