In exploring methods for maintaining her own health and wellness, Ronna has found meditation and mindfulness practices bring a sense of clarity and calm to her personal and work life. Ronna believes in the ability of each individual to engage and learn to direct one’s inner resources to create a powerful and positive life experience. Mindfulness meditation is an accessible-at-any-time tool for reducing stress and building emotional, cognitive and physical responsiveness to the demands of everyday life.

Ronna has been a steady meditator for several years and teaches courses in meditation and mindfulness in Bellingham/Whatcom County. She completed an 8-week intensive Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course in September 2013. Ronna recently completed a 9-month/350 hour training in the Fundamentals of Mindfulness and graduated in June 2016. She is continuing to pursue certification to become a Certified Mindfulness Teacher through Mindfulness Northwest and expects to complete the program in late 2016/early 2017.
