Wellness Program Instructors
Caitlin began her love for fitness as a Varsity Basketball Player in Lethbridge, Alberta. After needing a change she became a certified group fitness instructor and personal trainer in 2007. Originally from Canada, Caitlin obtained her Bachelors of Science in Human Kinetics with a focus on Movement Science from the University of Windsor in the Fall of 2009. In 2011 after taking a year off to volunteer at the Olympics, travel around the USA and Canada, and save money for grad school she began her Masters of Science in Health Studies which allowed her to combine her passion for Exercise Science with her interest in Public Health. She completed this in June 2013.
As a certified Primary group Fitness Instructor through AFAA and a Certified Personal Trainer through ACSM, Caitlin has worked with clients ages 16-80 using a variety of formats. Although she has been trained to teach and has experience teaching Cardio Kickboxing, TRX, Mommy and Me Classes, Aqua Fit, Yoga, and Pilates Caitlin’s favorite classes to teach are Cycle and Strength based classes. After 3 years doing Cross Fit, Caitlin enjoys taking part in Kaylee’s Fitness Classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays and doing other cardio and strength training workouts on her own time.
Caitlin is the Sport Clubs Coordinator in Campus Recreation.
