Women’s Alliance
The Women’s Alliance is a local, grassroots, non-profit organization dedicated to achieving equity and justice for women and girls by strengthening the feminist community through education, training, advocacy, and community action. We provide a woman-centered voice focusing on three areas of concern: economics, class & poverty; diversity & racism and empowering girls & young women. The Women’s Alliance provides feminist anti-racism and anti-sexism workshops, develops youth empowerment & leadership programs for women and girls, coordinates community forums, and offers gender analysis and monitoring services for policy, local legislation, educational systems and businesses. Our organization also acts as a liaison between the community and our local campuses to partner with diverse populations to promote self-reliance, cross-cultural awareness and social justice. The Women’s Alliance is the sponsor of the annual International Women’s Day March and Celebration along with Western Washington University's Women Studies Program and the AS Women's Center.
