Welcome to Western Washington University's Department of Journalism. We celebrated our 30th anniversary in 2000-2001. Our graduates may be found throughout the United States, writing and editing the news of the region, and serving in public relations agencies and with public and private organizations.

In 2004, the journalism department moved into the new Communications Facility located next to the Environmental Studies building on south campus. The Western Front, Klipsun and The Planet are enjoying new newsrooms.
