(one hour each), or used as geometry stations (30-45 minutes at each station,
working in groups).

Toothpicks - exploring triangles, patterns, and the triangle inequality

toothpicks (50 or more).

Jackets - making and classifying cube nets, developing spatial
reasoning
Supplies needed: 2cm cubes or
multilink cubes, 2cm graph paper
Pentomino
Puzzlers - puzzles and a game with pentominos
Supplies needed: Pentominos,
perhaps made from multilink cubes
Tangram
Challenges - make tangrams by folding, solve geometric puzzles
