Local Opportunities Career, Internship & Education Fair

Participation in a career & internship fair is a proactive opportunity to discuss hiring needs, the application process, company culture and convey to students and alumni why they should consider your organization!
Employers registering for this event must have an established physical location in Whatcom and/or Skagit Counties at the time of registration. Priority will be given to organizations offering degree-preferred, full-time positions and/or internship opportunities.

How is learning and conversation encouraged prior to, and during a career & internship fair at WWU?
- Workshops to help students and alumni craft resumes and cover letters, learn how to network and develop interview skills
- Orientations to review career fair logistics are available for students and employers
- Participants are encouraged to wear a name tag that includes their name, major and graduation year
- Printed and downloadable copies of the room layout (map) and alphabetical directory of participating employers are available!
- Student-led tours are scheduled during the career fair to provide mentorship for new career fair participants!

Registration Fees:
- $300: Over 250 employees
- $200: 50-249 employees
- $100: 10-49 employees or non-profits of any size
- FREE: Less than 10 employees
Registration includes:
- Two representatives from your organization*
- 1 6-foot table and 2 chairs** (no charge for additional chairs)
- Assorted beverages and snacks
- Parking & shuttle transport to event venue on campus
*Max of 4 representatives –if you have more than 4 representatives, you may register for an additional table
**Table linens are not provided

The Career Services Center has resources for both employers and participants to support a productive learning environment for everyone! Consider signing up to attend a half-hour orientation where we’ll discuss logistics prior to this event such as travel to and from this event, amenities included, and day of event details. Once your registration is approved, the Career Services Center routinely sends “career fair countdown” messages in Handshake with suggestions and logistics to help your team prepare for a successful career fair experience!
