The Winter Career and Internship Fair provides an opportunity to meet with Western Students and Graduates of all class levels and majors who are seeking opportunities to utilize their degree, acquired skills and experience! Please read over the Q/A to help determine if this event is a good option for your organization needs!

February 14th 1-1:30PM and 4-4:30PM

When is the Winter Career and Internship Fair? Wednesday, February 16th, Noon-4PM PST
How/Where is this event taking place? The Winter Career and Internship Fair will be virtual and conducted through Handshake. Upon registration, employers will need to pre-build a schedule of 1:1 timeslots and group sessions, signup for all sessions typically takes place in advance of the event. Student/Alumni registration will be ongoing, please log into your Handshake account to view an updates to schedule signups.
What is the cost to participate? The registration cost for this event is $325 for corporate employers and $175 for non-profit or government/state employers. Registration fees offset a portion of the financial costs to produce a career fair. If the registration fee is a detriment to participation, please contact the Career Services Center to discuss alternatives.
How do I register? Please log into your Employer Handshake account and scroll to “upcoming career fairs” to review registration details and sign up! Upon receiving a registration confirmation, you will need to go in and build your schedule of 1:1 appointments and group sessions ASAP so participants can sign up for timeslots!

How do I increase awareness of my organization among participants in advance of this event? After your registration is confirmed, we encourage you to build your team and schedule as soon as possible, so participants can start signing up for sessions. NEW! We’d like to invite your organization to participate in our “employer showcase” held during the student orientations to this event. 10-minute timeslots are available to highlight participation tips, opportunities with your organization or answer general questions.
