About the Education and Health Career Fair
The Education and Health Career Fair is in its second year with a new name and is in its twelfth year of operation! As the name indicates, this event fully embraces a range of education and health career fields. Sponsored by WWU Career Services Center, the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders and Woodring College of Education, The Education and Health Career Fair provides an opportunity for employers of Speech-Language Pathologists, Teachers (of all types), School and Mental Health Counselors, School Administrators and Nurses to meet students at various levels in their educational process. In addition, undergraduate students interested in audiology, psychology, human services, occupational and physical therapies, as well as other areas in health care and education, are encouraged to meet with participating employers. Attending students may be interested in employment, internships or information on these professions. Material related to these professions describing the variety of opportunities available within your organization will be valuable for attending students. A list with additional suggestions for materials to bring can be accessed HERE.

We suggest you register early as space is limited and we always fill before the deadlines! Registration is available online through our Viking CareerLink database. Confirmation information will be sent as expeditiously as possible and at least one week prior to the event. The Career Services Center may need to be selective when determining which employers are represented at special events such as career fairs. Decisions will be made in a fair and equitable manner after considering factors such as space availability, student interest in employer/industry, industry balance and employer position within its industry.
