Law School Information Fair - Virtual on Handshake
November 18, 2021
11:00am - 3:00pm PST
The Law School Fair provides an opportunity for students of all class levels and degrees to further their education by applying to ABA-approved law programs and legal studies. Please read through some commonly asked questions by students/alumni!
How/Where is this event taking place? The Law School Fair will be virtual and conducted through Handshake. Upon registration, students/alumni will need to pre-build a schedule of 1:1 timeslots and group sessions, signup for all sessions typically takes place in advance of the event but there could be some day-of available timeslots. Law School registration will be ongoing, please log into your Handshake account to view updated schedules.
What is the cost to participate? This event is FREE and Western Students will also be joined by students/alumni participating from the University of Washington and other soon to be invited schools. By inviting other WA schools within the Handshake Network, this will encourage a broader participation of ABA-approved programs!
I’m a sophomore and have not declared a major, can I still attend? Yes! Similar to all career fairs hosted by WWU, students of all class levels, declared or undeclared majors and alumni are welcome to attend. The only criteria is that you are a student or alumni from WWU or an invited school!
How do I register? Log in to your Handshake Student Account and scroll to “upcoming career fairs” to review registration details and sign up! Once registered, you will need to go in and select available timeslots of 1:1 appointments and group sessions hosted by participating schools!
I’m a Western Alum, can I participate in virtual Career Fairs? Yes! All Western Alumni -regardless of when you graduated or degree are always welcome at Career Fairs!
- Graduates prior to 2018, will need to request a free Handshake account.
- If you graduated between 2018-2021 and remember the personal email address you submitted to WWU on your degree application form, use that email to log in.
- Not sure if you submitted an email address? Please submit your full name and email to Britta.Eschete@wwu.edu.
I’ve never used Handshake before -how do I navigate this system? All incoming/current students automatically have a Handshake account created, you just need to claim your free account. For information on this or Handshake tutorial guides, please visit our Student Handshake Hub. You’re also welcome to request an appointment with Career Services to get started!
