Hustling Mindfully: Making Ideas Happen in the New Reality w/ Eric Torres
We all know it. It's time for “Hustle Culture” to adapt to our changing realities. Many creatives are facing challenges economically, socially, and more importantly with personal health. So this raises questions like: How can creative fulfillment be prioritized? Does a side hustle promote personal well-being? How do we get our ideas done now?
Eric Torres is a creative professional specializing in visual communication, game design, and illustration. His experience includes work with AIGA, Toyota, Compound Butter, UPS, and most currently W.L. Gore and Associates. As time allows Eric accepts commissions and publishes self-initiated work through his own creative studio Eric Imagines.
As part of ongoing efforts to grow in his career, Eric participates as an active member of the Phoenix design community. He volunteers regularly on behalf of organizations such as AIGA (AIGA Centennial Celebration, AIGA100 Chairs) and Phoenix Design Week as a contributing artist, designer, and speaker. Through these projects and personal endeavors Eric seeks to encourage and learn from the next generation of creative professionals.
