Applicable Laws

As a federal contractor, EOO at Western Washington University implements Equal Opportunity laws that prohibit discrimination in WWU employment and education as defined in Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Title IX of the Educational Admendments of 1972.

In addition to Title VII and Title IX, EOO seeks to implement a variety of federal and state civil right laws that guide the mission and purpose of Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action on campus.
