Checklist to be completed prior to our class on May 4:

Readings: Chapter 4-8 IN:  FAA 2016. Remote Pilot sUAS Study Guide. (good reference that is specifically intended to cover content of the Remote Pilot Knowledge exam that is required to operate UAS under 14 CFR Part 107)

And, as you read this, you will need to refer to:

FAA 2016. Airman Knowledge Testing Supplement for Sport Pilot, Recreational Pilot and Private Pilot (figures and tables used in all of the FAA knowledge exams, including the Remote Pilot exam. For some of the questions in your online quizzes, you will need to refer to this document)

FAA 2016 FAA Aeronautical Chart Users Guide 12th Ed (details on all the symbols and abbreviations used on the FAA Sectional Charts)

These two quizzes continue with material from the FAA Remote Pilot exam. These quizzes are based on the material we covered in lecture on 10/18 and the readings from last week, Chapters 3a and 3b2 of the Remote Pilot sUAS Study Guide. As you take these quizzes, you will need to refer to figures and tables in the Airman Knowledge Testing Supplement for Sport Pilot, Recreational Pilot and Private Pilot . Same rules as last time.
