Save your last LES, two years of tax returns, and a copy of your DD-214.

Priority Registration

Priority registration is available to those who have completed their first quarter of study at Western and are pursuing their undergraduate degree. Veterans are able to enroll in classes on the first day of registration, helping to secure the classes they need to graduate in a timely manner.

Credit for Military Training

Students may request evaluation of military credit by submitting the Joint Service Transcript (JST) to the Registrar’s Office. The Registrar’s Office is staffed with veterans who have served in the military and are familiar with what goes into military coursework and work to find connections to coursework here at Western. To get started:

  • Request your official transcripts to be sent to Western from military through the JST.
  • Air Force Veterans: access your transcript from the CCAF.

Dedicated Staff

The Veteran Services Office is staffed with employees to help facilitate the use of VA educational benefits and assist with the transition from the military to college. There are staff members available to act as a liaison and advocate for students using military benefits. Meet the staff!
